PAVIR's 30th Birthday Celebration
It's time to celebrate! The Palo Alto Institute for Research and Education (PAIRE) — PAVIR's predecessor organization — was established in 1988. We will be celebrating PAVIR's 30th. year on Wednesday, November 28, from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m., in the Edward L. Stallings Conference Room (building 101, first floor, B1-100). Through the decades, PAVIR and its research community have had a significant impact on the VAPAHCS, and made notable contributions to advancing Veteran and public health through innovative research.

New Indirect Cost Rate (IDC)
PAVIR negotiates our IDC rate with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) annually. Effective October 10, 2018, PAVIR's new federally negotiated IDC rate is 39.2%. This rate is applicable to all federal and most other governmental support, but is subject to limitations prescribed by statute or by agency administrative regulations. This rate will also apply to industry sponsored trials.
